Hays Associates, Inc. is dedicated to good design, careful attention to detail in both building and landscapes, and sensitivity to the environment. Founder and President Jim Hays built his first adobe walls in Santa Fe in 1975. Since then, Hays Associates, Inc. has established a reputation for fine custom home design and construction, as well as restoration of native landscapes.

We also have developed several subdivisions, and are accustomed to overseeing all related processes including land acquisition, subdivision approvals, planning and design, and construction. Kachina Hills was developed by Hays Associates, Inc., in 1995, and includes 25 lots on 13 acres. Kachina Hills is located within walking distance of the old Santa Fe Plaza. Our finish work and attention to detail speak to our reputation as one of Santa Fe's premier builders. Now there are only a few homes left to complete in Kachina Hills. Kachina Heights is our newest development, and will have 8 lots on 10 acres just off of Hyde Park Road. A short drive to downtown Santa Fe, or the Santa Fe Ski Basin, Kachina Heights enjoys the three main attributes of real estate value – location, location, and location. Land Restoration

Land restoration is a major interest of Jim Hays, and Hays Associates projects evidence attention to watershed improvements and restoration of native landscapes. Hays Associates, Inc. can come in at any stage of a project to provide planning and design for successful erosion and sediment control, soil stabilization, and appropriate plantings to restore damaged lands.
