Kachina Hills
Kachina Hills was developed by Hays Associates, Inc., in 1995, and includes 25 lots on 13 acres. Kachina Hills is located within walking distance of the old Santa Fe Plaza. Our finish work and attention to detail speak to our reputation as one of Santa Fe's premier builders. Now there are only a few homes left to complete in Kachina Hills. Kachina Heights
Kachina Heights is our newest development, and will have 8 lots on 10 acres just off of Hyde Park Road. A short drive to downtown Santa Fe, or the Santa Fe Ski Basin, Kachina Heights enjoys the three main attributes of real estate value – location, location, and location. Homes and Details
The elegant luster of hand troweled plasters, the warmth of exposed woods, fireplaces custom designed for each space, and the mix of tiles, colors and textures which give each home its unique ambience are hard to convey with just pictures. Our homes are usually built in the tradition of authentic adobe construction. We also use pumice-crete and other masonry materials, and have built quite a few wood frame homes as well. Arts and Crafts
"Thistlestar", a residence located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, may be the first adobe home constructed in the Arts & Crafts style. The methods of energy efficient design, ecologically friendly masonry construction, and restorative landscaping employed in this home would be a worthy standard for building everywhere. See Us at Work
We work with local artisans (specialty workers, finish carpenters, etc.) and subcontractors (adobe work, framing, plastering and tiling etc.). We have worked with most of our contractors for ten years or more. Our years of experience working together have helped us all to learn each other’s ways of doing things.
